Pokémon Legends: Arceus Mystery Gift Codes and Free In-Game Item Distributions

Pokémon Legends: Arceus provides players with opportunities to obtain free in-game items and content through its Mystery Gift feature. These distributions range from consumable items like healing supplies and evolution materials to exclusive cosmetic outfits and special Pokémon. The availability of these freebies is often tied to specific time windows, pre-order status, or ownership of other Pokémon titles, requiring players to act promptly to claim rewards.

Several limited-time item bundles have been offered. One distribution provided a bundle containing five Grit Pebbles, five Rare Candies, and five Star Pieces. Grit Pebbles and Rare Candies are used to power up and level Pokémon, while Star Pieces can be sold to merchants for a high price. To claim this bundle, players needed to input the code THX4Y0URHELP via the Mystery Gift menu by March 31. Another limited-time distribution offered a bundle of free Ultra Balls, Gigaton Balls, and Jet Balls using the password ARCEUSADVENTURE.

In addition to item bundles, players who purchased the game by May 9, 2022, could claim several cosmetic items and items as early purchase bonuses. These included the Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set, the Baneful Fox Mask, 30 Heavy Balls, and the Garchomp Kimono Set. A separate distribution available to all players until March 31 included the Baneful Fox Mask and the Growlithe Kimono Set.

Certain free content requires specific conditions related to save data from other Pokémon games on the Nintendo Switch. Gifts are available if a player has a save file for Pokémon Sword & Shield or Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Furthermore, a Shiny Enamorus can be obtained by completing the Hisui Pokédex in Pokémon HOME after updating the app to version 3.2.2. A Shiny Baneful Fox Mask is also a permanent reward for completing the Hisui HOME Pokédex.

To redeem codes, players must first unlock the Mystery Gift feature. This is achieved by completing Mission 5 in the game. Alternatively, reaching Rank 1 in the Survey Corps unlocks Mystery Gifts, which requires completing the tutorial on catching Pokémon and earning 500 Research Points by completing research tasks. Once unlocked, players can access the Mystery Gift menu from the main menu or in-game via the Ginter’s Goods shop in Jubilife Village after making sufficient progress.

Players should note that codes are case-sensitive and often have expiration dates. It is important to use official sources for codes and avoid third-party code generators. As of 2026, there are reportedly no active Mystery Gift codes for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as the focus has shifted to newer titles like Pokémon Legends Z-A. However, past distributions and requirements for claiming gifts based on save data from other games remain relevant for players seeking these free in-game items.
