Seasonal installations include the Pumpkin Arch located on the Seaport waterfront on Pier 17. This installation offers views of the Brooklyn Bridge and serves as a photo spot. It is available from October 22 through November 17. During the day, it provides a backdrop for autumn walks and pumpkin-themed photos. At night, it is illuminated.
The Genesis House features a fall installation titled "CHROMA: Tales Between Hues." This multi-sensory journey explores Korean folklore and was developed in collaboration with Ashley Park. The installation is inspired by the Obangsaek color spectrum, which represents the five cardinal directions, elements, and cosmic balance.
Performing Arts and Theater
Free performances are available at various venues. The Hanover Theatre offers free shows and events to make performing arts accessible to all. Programming includes performances on Carroll Plaza and Spotlight: Conversations That Matter, which are discussions about representation and equity in the arts.
The Youth Ballet Company presents a free public performance each spring. The 2025 performance of "The Stories of Hansel & Gretel and Peter & The Wolf" was presented on March 6 at 6 PM. The performance was generously supported by TJX Companies, Inc.

ChaHalo offers free milk tea for pets. Participating stores in New York provide free Pup Cups, free drinking water, and a place to sip, chat, and chill. The event takes place on November 15 and November 16 at stores located at 79 Mott St, Chinatown, and 23 St Marks Pl, East Village. Hours are from 12 PM to 10 PM.
Literary and Book Events
In honor of Jewish Book Month's 100th anniversary, a pop-up bookstore was held on November 16 and November 17. The event took place at 81 Hester Street, transforming the space into a cozy Jewish bookstore. The Jewish Book Council gave away 1,000 free Jewish books, hot chocolate, and Jewish literary goodies. The bookstore was free and open to the public.
